Call for papers

The Centre de Recherches Linguistiques sur l'Asie Orientale (CRLAO) is pleased to announce that the 37th Paris Meeting on East Asian Linguistics (JLAO37) will be held in Paris, July 04 and 05, 2024 at Inalco, 65 rue des Grands Moulins, 75013 Paris.

All the sub-disciplines of linguistics are represented, including, but not limited to:

- diachronic or synchronic linguistics

- phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics

- writing system

- field linguistics

- theoretical linguistics

- dialectology

- typology

- L1 acquisition, heritage language acquisition, L2 acquisition (description of the linguistic system of non-native speakers)

Speakers are invited to submit an abstract in English or French of up to 700 words (including examples and references).

Submission is only possible via sciencesCONF (https://jlao37.sciencesconf.org/).

Length of presentation: 20 minutes of talk, followed by 5 minutes for discussion.

The deadline for receipt of abstracts is: 24/03/2024

Notification of acceptance: 03/05/2024
